The rules for using KREE8, in plain language.
Last updated: September 13, 2026
KREE8 is operated by Krauss House Enterprises LLC ("KREE8", "we", "us"), 26621 Hendon Rd, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. You can reach us at joe@kree-8.com.
By using KREE8 or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
KREE8 is a website builder. You answer a short series of questions, KREE8 generates a complete website, and you can then publish it, host it with us, or download it as a file and host it elsewhere.
We add new features, designs and effects to KREE8 over time. New features are included in your plan at no extra charge unless we clearly say otherwise before you buy them. We may also change, improve or retire individual features; we will not remove a feature your published site depends on without giving you a reasonable way to keep your site working.
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for anything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
You own your content. The words, images, logos and other material you put into your site remain yours. You also own the website KREE8 generates for you.
To host and display your site, you give us a limited license to store, copy and publish that content for as long as we are hosting it. That license ends when your site comes down, apart from ordinary backups that age out on a normal schedule.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
You may not use KREE8 to publish or distribute:
You also may not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to our systems, or resell KREE8 as your own product without a written agreement with us.
If you break these rules we may suspend or remove your site. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. For serious cases — anything illegal, or anything putting other people at risk — we may act immediately.
Current pricing:
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are, which will be added at checkout where required.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
If a payment fails we will try again and let you know. If it keeps failing, we may suspend hosting until it is settled. We will give you at least 14 days' notice before taking a site offline for non-payment, and we will keep your site's data for at least 30 days after that so you can get it back.
In detail:
This is a commitment, not a marketing line. If we ever cannot honor it, you may cancel and nothing further will be charged.
To cancel, email us at joe@kree-8.com and we will cancel it. There is no notice period, no form to fill in and nobody will try to talk you out of it. Cancelling stops all future charges.
Your site stays online until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that it comes offline, and you keep the site file — you can host it anywhere.
We will not charge you again after you cancel. If a charge goes out after a valid cancellation, tell us and it will be returned.
Payments for the build are final. Hosting is billed in advance and is not refunded for a period already begun.
Where your plan includes a domain, we register it for you and we pay for it — the first year and every year you stay. We never bill you a renewal fee for it. While you host with KREE8 the domain is registered and administered by us on your behalf, as part of the service.
Taking it with you. You can move the domain into your own account at any time, and we will always help you do it. What it costs depends only on how long you have been with us:
Either way: we will not hold a domain against an unpaid balance, and we will not refuse to release one.
There is also a waiting period we do not control. ICANN does not allow a newly registered domain to move to a different registrar for 60 days after it is registered, or for 60 days after the registered owner's details change. That rule applies to every registrar and we cannot waive it. It does not stop you pointing the domain wherever you like in the meantime.
The name is your choice, and your responsibility. You tell us the domain name you want and we register it. Because we are the registered holder while you host with us, any complaint about the name itself — a trademark objection, a UDRP dispute, a claim that it is confusingly similar to someone else's brand — is addressed to us, even though we did not choose it. So: you confirm that you have the right to use the name you asked for, and section 16 applies to it. We may decline to register, or may suspend, a name that appears on its face to infringe someone else's trademark or to be intended to pass off as another business; if we decline one we will tell you why and you can choose another.
Which endings we register. A domain included with a hosting plan is a .com, .net or .org. We do not register .co domains, and other endings are not included as standard. If you want an ending we do not offer, tell us before you buy and we will say whether we can register it and what it would cost; if we cannot, nothing is charged.
Domain registration is also governed by the registrar's and ICANN's own terms, including the requirement to keep accurate contact details.
We work to keep hosted sites available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party provider outages and events outside our control can cause downtime. We do not offer a formal uptime guarantee or service credits at this price.
Please keep your own copy of your site file and your content. We take reasonable care with backups, but you should not rely on us as your only copy.
You own your content and the website generated for you. We own KREE8 itself — the builder, its designs, effects, templates, code and brand. Using KREE8 does not transfer any of that to you, and you may not copy or resell the builder.
If you believe something on a site we host infringes your copyright, contact us at joe@kree-8.com with the details and we will act on valid notices.
We may update these terms — for example as the service changes, or as the law does. When we make a material change we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or a clear notice in the product before it takes effect.
If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before it takes effect and nothing further will be charged. Continuing to use KREE8 after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
What we will not do is use this clause to get around the rate lock in section 7. Price changes apply to new customers, and to anyone who cancelled and came back.
KREE8 is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular business result.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business or lost data, even if warned they were possible.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to KREE8, in aggregate, is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from the content you publish through KREE8, the domain name you asked us to register for you, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms — except to the extent the claim arises from our own wrongdoing.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and both of us consent to that jurisdiction.
Before starting formal proceedings, please email us and give us 30 days to try to sort it out. Most things can be resolved that way.
We use it to run the service: to build and host your site, take payment, provide support, and understand in aggregate which parts of the product work. That is all.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your site content to advertise to you.
Each has its own privacy policy and handles data on our behalf.
If you use the "describe what you want" feature, the sentence you type is sent to our AI provider to match it against our catalog of designs and effects. It is not used to identify you, and we do not send your site content with it.
We keep your site and account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can come back or recover your site. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Email joe@kree-8.com and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR; we will honor those requests.
KREE8 is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
